Ambati Rayudu Quits Cricket !!!


Amabati Rayudu, known for his swashbuckling knocks in Indian middle order has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. He took this decision when Mayan Agarwal was preferred over him as a replacement of Vijay Shankar in this World Cup. Rayudu was always in the mix but when he didn’t get inclusion in the team even after the injuries of Shikhar Dhawan and Vijay Shankar, he thought its time to quit. Rayudu played 55 ODIs and 6 T20s for the country where he scored 1694 and 42 runs respectively. Not that impactful in international T20s but Rayudu was good in the ODIs as he scored the runs at a healthy average of 47.05.

Other than this, in 17-year-long first-class career, Rayudu scored 6151 runs. Rayudu did make his comeback in the Indian team after amazing performances for the Chennai Super Kings in IPL. But was astonishingly axed from the World Cup Team. so, he decided to quit and will not play even the IPL according to several sources. Do let us know your thoughts using our comments section.
