This is a light show that takes place at Hampden, 720W, 34th Street, Baltimore. The first few minutes of the light show is ample to ignite the holiday spirit in everyone’s mind. This is one of the perfect and ideal events to spend the Thanksgiving with the family and one would surely never be disappointed by what he would cherish at this event. The show includes everything starting from inflatable snow globes, musical trains and lighted blinking angels using which people decorate their homes on the 34th street. It has been a tradition to visit the German Christian Market during the thanksgiving for over the years. The market is also called Christkindlmarkt. There would be over 50 different vendors selling a variety of items to the customers. The items include traditional European gifts, arts and crafts, jewelry items, ornaments, foods, sweets and desserts, an array of drinks and much more. One can easily spot a plethora of German-style huts around the Walter Sondheim Fountain. The event has an official site to furnish more detailed information to the public. The specialties of this event include hot mulled wine and the sausages, which are available at the shops selling the food items. The entry into this event is free but if a person purchases anything, he needs to pay of course.


This is one of the best holiday events by Caroll County and would definitely do justice to everyone’s Thanksgiving getaway in Baltimore. This event is organized at the Caroll County Arts Council, 91 W Main Street, Westminster, and the event comprise of a silent auction of a number of decorated wreaths. The decorated wreaths are put into display in the Arts Council for the visitors and are later put for sale through the auction which lasts for about a week. The admission into the exhibition is free of cost and the time one spends with his family watching the decorated wreaths is totally worth it. The display of the wreaths at the Arts Council starts from 10 in the morning.


This is a charity event, which benefits the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Centre and is organized every year during Thanksgiving day. The event takes place at the circle at President Street, Harbour East, Baltimore. This event takes place at the Mount Clare Museum House situated at 1500 Washington Blvd, Baltimore, Maryland. The event is meant to take all its visitors back to the colonial period with the Carroll Family. The museum is completely decorated in a unique way to provide the feel of the colonial phase. The decorations are made from pine cones, fruits, nuts, feathers, etc. and all together form a total visual delight. However, the visitors need to pay entry fees so as to enjoy the feels at this amazing place or have an American Christmas of the colonial phase even during this modern era. The event would take place for about a fortnight and the museum would be open for a public visit between 11 am to 4 pm during the daytime.
